You've found people who genuinely get it.

At ADHD Therapy Australia, we know that living with ADHD isn't just about managing symptoms – it's about understanding how your brain works, building strategies that actually fit your life, and letting go of labels like "lazy," "too much," or "difficult." We're here to help with all of it.

Who were here for

Two Reaching Hands

You don't have to have it all figured out before you
reach out.

Whether you've just received a diagnosis and aren't sure what to do next, you've suspected ADHD for years and are finally seeking support, or you're a parent trying to better understand your child – you're in the right place.

Our clients range from children and teenagers to adults navigating careers, relationships and family life. Many have spent years wondering why things feel harder for them than for other people. We're here to help make sense of that.

 A different way of thinking
about ADHD

We take a neuroaffirming approach – which means we don't see ADHD as something to fix. Instead, we help you understand how your brain works, and build practical skills and strategies that support your day-to-day life.

In sessions, you can expect us to:

  • Help you make sense of the patterns you're experiencing – at work, at home, in relationships

  • Develop approaches to organisation, focus and emotion regulation that work with your ADHD brain, not against it

  • Explore how stress and mental health interact with your ADHD

  • Support your sense of identity and self-compassion – especially if you've spent years carrying shame or self-doubt from being misunderstood

Sessions are collaborative and practical. We focus less on abstract discussion and more on real situations you're dealing with right now.

ADHD Therapy Australia

ADHD Therapy Australia acknowledges, with deep respect, the Traditional Custodians of the country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their culture, and their elders past and present, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. We recognise a history of truth which acknowledges the impacts of colonisation on Aboriginal people resulting in the forcible removal from their lands. We stand for a future that profoundly respects and acknowledges Aboriginal perspectives, culture, language and history. We are deeply grateful for all that Aboriginal people have taught us, and continue to seek their teachings with openness and humility.
